The full meaning of PROTOA is Progressive Transport Owners’ Association of Ghana
The Progressive Transport Owners’ Association of Ghana herein after referred to as “PROTOA” was formed in the year 1980 in Kumasi with the name “Ashanti Transport Owners’ Association. Later, the name was changed to Progressive Transport Owners’ Association – Ghana. And with the approval of the Registrar of Companies, it was incorporated under the Companies Code 1963 (Act 179), on the 15th Day of February 1982, as a limited liability company by guarantee.
